well, i have a kid now... that's pretty cool. he's a little over 3 months old now and just learned to yell. it's hilarious! he's a little chatterbox like his mom and is distracted by shiny things like his dad. he grunts a lot and laughs at me all day. it's a whole different world for me. and i absolutely love it.
how can i resist this face? i can't! :)
anyways! we've been attending john piper's church, bethelehem baptist. it is a super sweet church... not cause it has a coffee shop (it really doesn't)... but because Piper preaches the Word of God powerfully and expositionally. every week, i leave church thinking, "i think that was the best sermon i have ever heard." there's just no compromising--no excuses--no wishy washy Christianity--only admonishment to do the will of God and nothing else. i could go on and on. but i'll save that for later when i don't have 1300 loads of laundry to do. oh, joy.
i think that's enough for today. i'll just leave off here saying that i am very, very (and underservedly) blessed. i have everything i need and an abundance on top of that. God is good--ALL THE TIME--if you are breathing right now, you should agree with me! you have been allowed to live another day. don't waste it! do everything to the glory of your Creator!

Aw, so cute! I enjoy Piper too :) When i went to NWC, I would go to his Sunday services on campus.
