Some things are just funnier when a three-year-old says them.

Jude (a little panicky): Daddy! Aviyah has a hair in her mouth!
Jake: Then take it out!
Jude (completely calmly): I can't. (pause) Eew.

Where's the justice in eternal punishment?

This is from Kirk Cameron at Living Waters:

If men would live forever--they would sin forever!
~ Thomas Watson

One difficult concept for us to grasp may be the justice of eternal punishment for a man who commits a limited number of sins in a lifetime. But the truth is, without the restraining Holy Spirit, we have a propensity within our nature to love sin endlessly. In Revelation, John tells us that those who suffered "refused to repent" even after experiencing the Judgment of God. In Hell, without the redeeming power of grace, sin-full man will naturally, endlessly sin against God and refuse to repent. Therefore, Divine wrath will continue for as long as the sin continues. Still difficult, but true.

Blogger's broken, but Jude's not...

Sorry I've been gone- blogger mobile is inexplicably broken and I've been wandering around Minnesota largely without Internet. I hope they fix it soon so I can get back to regular funny kid blogging :-)

I thought I'd put a few things up that he's said in the last month that I was able to jot down. Enjoy :-)

Jude and Granny were playing cards. Granny remarked that she had a good hand so they should keep playing. Jude looked at her like she was crazy, and said, "I have TWO hands!" Ha ha!

A family member who will remain unnamed (but who I will privately harass, haha) was listening to some really trashy music when Jude came over. My sister told him to stop listening to it.
Laura: That's bad music.
Jude: Why is it bad?
Laura: They talk about bad stuff.C
Jude: Like spanking?

Smarty pants remark to mom:
I DO know everything. Cause I'm a boy!
